Pushing the punch list of things to do, Got the anchor set into place, and
soldered up the gun mount for the bow. Still have a top plate to create and place on the mount.

I wanted to silver solder the base washers, but I knew the wood might give me an issue.
Of course it flamed up, and off gassed and didn't solder a thing, so I cleaned it up, and just
used electrical solder down there.

.



To reduce issues with burning wood, get yourself a fire brick or foundry brick (I think that's one name for them  %% ) to do your soldering on when using gas as then you will have your heat rebound and help keep the piece hot while soldering. You are doing really nice work, and love the gun mount Umi  :-))

I have a heat proof tile, but I didn't want to drill holes in it to jig the uprights.  %)
I doubt there will be alot of pressure on the gun mount, so silver solder is a bit of overkill.
