Cheers Ned, disability playing up and I am now borderline COPD so knackered, I am trying to keep busy and we are doing tanky things in the RC boat club.

Very realistic  :-)

Is that a Tamiya? is it a full option or earlier?

I almost bought this but due to a disagreement with the seller it's going back unopened. Not a patch on yours  :-))

That is a shame as it is the Porsche turret version, mine is the Henschel turret.

Nope, not Tamiya, this is a Heng Long, stripped and redone the electrics to 2.4, gearboxes replaced (although I need to redo again, better motors and gear ratios) and the metal running gear. While stripped it was repainted.

Glad you like it, the dot camo was a pain, simple to do but just took ages and with cramping hands it took even longer lol.

With me figures and wingy things are my failing when it come to painting, just cannot get my head around them...probably a lack of patience.  :embarrassed:

It is a pity that your KT is going back as it looks really nice just a bit of weathering to tone down the hull and it would look a smasher.

Was worth the journey  :-))  All working as it should but must be old as it has a crystal radio set  {-)  Sound effects are awesome. I paid £370 and it costs £450 for the DDM T-07 controller alone

What's the spec / working features?

Widely recognized as the best modern day Main Battle Tank (MBT), Tamiya introduces the latest German Leopard 2 tank, the Leopard 2 A6, to the 1/16 scale R/C tank series. Tamiya's biggest R/C tank ever, it's just like driving the real thing! Evolved DMD unit The T-07 DMD unit provides the 1/16 R/C Leopard 2 A6 with more features than any other Tamiya R/C tank. The T-07 unit matches engine sound (which has been digitally recorded from a real MB873-Ka501 turbo-charged diesel engine) with tank movements, and controls various lightning combinations activated easily with transmitter. Turret rotation, gun elevation and firing sounds also add to the realism of this model. The T-07 unit and 7.2V battery are mounted in the turret for easy and quick accessibility.

That one is a bit too expensive for me. But one day I will have one of these. If I stop buying lifeboat models that is.

I got two more tanks today Eddie.
A full option Tiger 1 Bovington and an older King Tiger that wants upgrading.
£250 the pair with a radio and all batteries.  Well chuffed  :-)

Cracking models Andy :-))

I have some spare rear air filters so will be faffing in making some early air filters instead of the later ones shown on your Tiger, Tiger 131 had the early types.

Ding Ding room for one upstairs!  thank you IKEA  O0

Had the King tiger running this aft, a pity nothing goes on up top. Probably sell it on as needs too much money investing.

I'm still learning Eddie but after today I realised the Tiger 1 turns too sharp so I wound the aileron servo back to 70% and it's perfect now  :-))

Leo 2 worlds best main battle tank, I think not, going up in flames when hit, granted they have not the latest armour package but CR2 and Abrams far superior
