1/18 Sd.Kfz. 251
« on: February 18, 2018, 04:48:09 pm »

I got this 21st century 1/18 Hanomag (not cheap, caused upset...should we say  {:-{ )

Anyway, repainted and weathered and some detailing added, got some more detailing to add but essentially it is done.

Ooh, a D type infantry carrier. That is a nicely 'filfed' up model Eddie  :-))

Can I suggest some dust in the tyre treads and in crevices etc. on the tracks to tie the whole model together? I like the wear and tear on the paint in the crew compartment, the seats especially.

Well spotted, it has had its dirt coat but what you suggest is to do along with more detail parts...when I get around to it  %%

Glad you like it, was good to do.

Bit of an update on this:

I added the rear MG, internal ammo cans, net, barbed wire and helmet, aerial added and smoke discharges, also added some more weathering.

Thank you, looked at the tyres etc again and you were spot on, just needed a touch more.

Pleased you like it and for spotting stuff, sometimes you don't always spot things when you have made it yourself.
