Can anyone name the style of hull this little tug has please, seems a bit small for a TID but who am I to know!

it's a picture of the old Riverman, that Frank Hinchliffe based his Riverman tug kit on.....frank modified the superstructure to an open wheelhouse but on your picture you can see where the closed in cockpit has gone with the door to it showing on the original model.


somewhat artistically enhanced for franks kit though, lol.

I remember seeing lots of these shuffling around Hull's docks when I was a toddler. Dad used to drag me aged 7 or 8 up to the fish docks to collect his wages every saturday.

I fancy building one as my next build but was wondering if a hull was available, grp or abs rather than scratchbuilding.

Kingston mouldings used to do a similar hull, but he retired a couple of years or so ago, and I don't think he sold his moulds on to anyone.........he just gave up moulding.

its a very similar hull to the Cullamix, blue circle cement tug that you can get plans for from the model boats spin off shop or sometimes on ebay
