Now just need to solve the technical problem of making a pair of working outdrives in 1/12th scale!!!!! The germ of the solution is already whizzing around in the old skull. {-)

Ah, the Dell Quay Dory... I should imagine there's less room for internals in that than there is in the Mclachlan. On a similar line there's the Boston Whaler Outrage (A-513) that replaced it.

Looks fantastic! Did you buy the plans from the RNLI or elsewhere?


Out of interest, how big was the real life boat? Are there any dimensions on the plans (Length, Beam, Height from keel to highest point)?
