A lot of damage on that coast , seen photos of North Cornwall / Devon where boats up to 27ft ( at least 4 tonnes dead weight ) moved 150 yards up from a beach and then washed over a 4ft high wall onto a road , a lot of damage and the worst is yet to hit with this bad storm in the Atlantic , fishing boats in the Northern North sea are suffering from icing up ( light icing so far but the fishing industry know just how dangerous that is with all the losses up at Iceland and Norway with ice over the decades including 3 trawlers in 2 weeks with only 1 survivor at Iceland )
All I can say is that if you don't have to travel then don't , I had to get help digging out my path from my door to my car this morning , only just managed to go the mile from the house to Asda's only to find they hadn't had any deliveries for 2 days and unlikely to get tomorrow so no loaf and I got the last bottle of milk , roads not been gritted for more than a week so its been hellish up here and the wind is rising again so there's going to be more damage up here tonight , fingers crossed its only boats that get damaged and no one looses their life , boats/cars/lorries can all be replaced a life cannot
