To go with the brass split pins I bought. I purchased these 2mm brass washers to use as grab rail back plates on the split pins.
Model shops seem to charge the earth so I think these are a bargain unless someone knows better?

Andy.......I purchase M2 - HH metric bolts from Knupfer ...same as your supply?.......but for M2 brass washers I found the Chinese precision M2 brass washers with a true M2 toleranced hole unbeatable

So the Knupfer M2 bolts are to DIN & measure ~~1.93 diameter & are a great mating size for the M2 washers

Andy...I do see a large clearance >>:-(  between the OD of the split pin & the ID or the washer....which may be problematic for soldering...

[I suspect if you gauge your M2 washers, they may in fact be M2 clearance or approx 2.2 to 2.3]

I found the Germans as the only supplier of brass hex head, but this guy in China for M2 & M3 washers, M2 & M3 S/S socket head cap screws.....and amazingly M3 socket head cap screws in brass!

I just search in Google/e-bay....find this supplier name & choose to purchase from him as there are usually 2 or 3 suppliers with the same product for same or similar cost

In the last image you can see the M2 HSS twist drill in the caliper & a sample of one of his M2 ID washers.....with very little clearance.....obviously they use 2.0 diameter pins in their die forming operations.........[not 2.2 like others]

[200 M3 brass washers were $5.36 Australian ..posted free to me].............

Qi phone charger and mount
Just drop the phone in and it clasps it securely with no faffing with wires

Slightly different to the usual

I bought a new vinyl copy of Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. I’ve got an original but didn’t want to wear it out or damage it if I had a new one to play. Sounds pretty good on my gramophone.

Back to the usual!

Wasn't that bad really - £400ish; the big spend comes tomorrow with a new alloy rad and fans and more bits and bobs.

just got my car back, two new rear suspension rods that looked like open ended ring spanners, and the clutch pedal and its fitting to the bulkhead refitted - wondered why the clutch was not engaging as it usually did, well its a 20 year old car - what do you expect.

My son tried at weekend to fit his old motherboard to my pc case, replacing an asroc alive for a better small form one, with a better chipset etc and ram, well my pc is destroyed, so i am having to use an old one, he went out and bought a new motherboard and cpu and ram etc and fitted it - wouldn't read the old c drive so he's overwritten it and so it's definitely fragged and I wont use it on principle, I will just have to find a way of hiding this pc in the loft and use it up there, so i need to put a proper power supply in there to allow me to use it effectively, so may be off line for a long time.  >>:-( >>:-( >>:-(

A handy investment especially when you're out and about - in more ways than one. I always keep mine strapped to my wrist.

I collected my new car this morning. Volvo XC40. I would have kept the Land Rover but on only 5000 miles per year and less and less longer runs Petrol had to be the way to go.

I'm changing to petrol soon as retiring and the XC40 is on my list to replace the Yeti. Let us know how you get on with it.

My wife insisted on taking my mini-tripod through once, it fits in a holster type case. She got stopped.  :}
