I too managed a pack of 18 rolls from Home & Bargain this morning £3.99, safe for another two weeks.  :}

Ocado may be a problem but Eurocarparts and DHL are ace.
All this for £40 delivered direct via Tamworth import hub.

Hmm. I thought "locked down" -> "shed time"

But no. Yesterday saw me painting the kitchen cupboard no-one cares about, and today I've learned there's a new oven arriving tomorrow. Which I will no doubt be fitting.  <:(

H all, really boring I had to buy soap on the Internet!  Arrived this morning, slightly cheaper than the supermarket and free delivery.
But it is out to the workshop after lunch.

My mum ordered what she thought were three hand cleaners- much to her shock this morning when a heavy box turned up with three packs of six hand cleaners! She hated the hoarders so much for the last few weeks and now she feels like one herself  :}  she failed to read the small print!

Didn't she think that they were 3 very expensive hand cleaners?

No actually she said they were quite cheap, which was why she bought them. It completely baffled her until she looked back on Amazon and spotted the small print saying that they were three ‘packs of 6’! She’s donating the excess to the local surgery/doctors if they will have them.

At least that is one item we don't have to buy.
One son in law is an industrial chemist and made 900 litres last week.  :embarrassed:
He will soon have to start using Ethanol (which Oz makes from sugar cane) and it is possible our E10 petrol will stop production for more important uses.

Boatingwise just bought TurboCAD Deluxe.

I've been using Microsoft Visio for my boat designs, used to use it at work, but it's not the best program for that and I want to produce some files for laser etching i.e. deck planking and get some 3D printing done.

Just got to learn how to use it now!

Yes, usually used for diagrams and tables etc. but I've used it for producing drawings for house extensions etc. as well as for model boats. Bit labourious for that but it does produce some nice drawings.

Couple of shots off the PC - hopefully they come out alright.

A replacement MIG welder! Our last one made some really bad sounds when it was feeding the wire through. When looking we found the tensioner was loose so we re-adjusted it and it worked for a while before it emitted a high pitch noise- the motor which drives the feed had stopped. We bought a replacement and checked it over- the plastic tension parts are metal in in this model (a big bonus) but when we started comparing we found that the motor was like comparing a 380 motor (in the old welder) to a 800 in the new! Makes welding so much better and such a clean weld too. Wish we had skipped the old one years ago!

Modelling wise I’ve purchased some references for future models and some ship’s boats from Quaycraft for the remaining ones for Invincible and all the ones for Albatross.

A Portgarth tug and bits 'n' bobs from Cornwall Model Boats. If I'm to be locked down, it might as well be with something to keep me occupied for a few months.

In full-size boating, the towbar for the new (old) Qashqai arrives Tuesday!
