Two pots of tulips, one bag, large, of compost, one box of grass seed and one box of ceiling lights, (returned because of wrong fitting - the correct fitting cost £1 more).

At the turn of the year I noticed in 'Other Hobbies and Interests' that Kpnuts was constructing a Ugears Express Train. I checked out the Ugears UK website and purchased the antique box, pictured below.
It actually look a quite 'challenging' build . . . . .

BTW don't get involved in Foredom tools - they will leave you utterly skint a bit like Snap-on spanners.  But Oh my god how good are they  :-)

Haha... no, the Foredom tools. I was happy in my Proxxon world, then you had to make me look at Foredom. So many new ways to get in trouble...

I've just swapped to Foredom........you are in trouble mate.  This is another level but I guess it depends upon what you want.  Dremel and Proxxon depend on speed whereas Foredom has torque so you can start off very slow.  I'm glad I did but its not for everyone and the results are very similar and for many not worth the cost.  Drop me a PM if you want the low down :)

I'm currently interested in buying something from ebay located in Spain.
The first concern was being possibly charged VAT twice and border charges.

I found the ebay help pages regarding buying from EU to UK very useful in explaining the way I see it that VAT is charged by ebay and not the seller. Thus only paying UK VAT.

So as long as it is under £135 there should be no hidden surprise charges.

Useful information regarding the VAT, I have the sort of reverse situation, someone in the UK wants to buy one of my steam plants, value is way over £135, but then I can't charge VAT.........hum......

Meanwhile today we bought a chicken house..(looks like a small workshop to me)

Friday we buy chickens..........see what lockdown can do to you  O0 O0
