Hi Phil, just in case you don't already know - make sure your chicken coop is fox proof. I have had 2 lots of 12 hens killed by them.  <:(

I'll have to think hard before I decide to get anymore livestock  >:-o .

Ah okay, unfortunately for us our allotments are regularly raided, both by foxes and scumbags  <*< .
Anyway, as you know, there's no better tasting eggs than those from your own birds - enjoy  :-))

I was going to say the opposite. All going well and you have good layers don't miss a day or two. My brother was bringing boxes full last month saying his friend had missed a few days and the eggs were piling up like mad. Bit like the rabbits in father Ted!

I've always liked the idea of fresh eggs, but not the noise. That said they are running in a yard close to my apartment in guyancourt and don't hear them. They must bee good chickens because they are always outside the yard when I pass but never in the road (maybe because the butcher shop is directly across the square so they know better!). LoL

Bought a new power washer. Click & collect from Screwfix £120. From placing the order to getting it back home took under 1hr O0

Tested it yesterday and it's powerful - comes with a bunch of attachments for various applications (not tested those yet).

It's a good bit of kit anyway. :-))

"comes with a bunch of attachments for various applications (not tested those yet]".....
Does it include an attachment for washing Steamboatphils chickens? {-) , or the gentle attachment for washing the eggs?  :P

I guess the rotating patio cleaner could be used to turn the fertile eggs?

Seriously though, the standard attachment is the usual jet-to-spray but there is also a hi-power jet only, which I imagine will be good for getting rid of algae in the brick mortar  O0

This was listed at £152 last week plus £18.40 delivery from Spain
This week they reduced the price and or best offer
I offered £60 plus vat and they just accepted  O0

Cost me £90 delivered rather than £170  :-))

That titan looks like a re-branded karcher K4 or similar, I have the K2, not keen on the rotating nozzle and when I checked last time it was about £30+ for the lance.

Hi Warspite, when I read the reviews of the Titan I was surprised by the number of people who were not impressed by their Karchers and subsequently opted for the Titan.
A few years ago I bought a Titan wet 'n dry vacuum, from Screwfix and its a very good bit of kit. I guess I'm a bit biased towards that make now but so far so good  :-)

I like the reel for the presure hose on the Titan, the presure hose on my Karcher is only about 1/2" but quite stiff and is always a fight to get it into some sort of coil for storage.

Hiya Joe, the reel is for storage only. Both ends of the hose are identical - 1 end to water outlet, other to the lance - still a neat solution though.  O0

Ahh right, I thought it might be like our self rewinding garden hose where you pul out as much as you want and after use it winds back in, but as you say a good storage solution

I was thinking of the guy who has written articles in Model Boat magazine when I saw the radio gear.
