1/18 FUEL TRUCK.
« on: March 07, 2018, 07:25:08 pm »

I managed to get another 1/18 Hasbro Indiana Jones truck cheap, was missing a few items and the screws were rusted and rounded, had to drill out and faff about.

Anyway, turned this one into a fuel truck, added some detail parts and repainted and weathered, still a bit more to do but 90% finished.

It is an interesting truck to have been manufactured in large scale. If only it was in 1:14th, it would look amazing running around a hall with Large modern rigs!

It is made by Hasbro from the Indiana Jones films.

It would be nice in that scale, and I suppose you could have a go at RCing it.

Looks great mate but I have to say the hose out the back looks very shiny considering how the rest of the truck looks . I really love your work mate. Mine seems to be going down hill rapidly.

It could be the camera flash on the hose, it was painted in matt black and then matt varnish or, it could be just be shiny, will have a check  :D

Thanks Ken, my modelling has slowed an awful lot but with us doing the tanks days at our boat club I am getting vehicles and bits together so that is spurring me on.

Hopefully you are just having a slump, think it happens to all of us from time to time, fingers crossed that it picks up mate as I also enjoy your builds.
