« on: March 19, 2018, 06:48:13 pm »

Hello, Guys
Wonder if any one has come across this, my dremel hand tool has stopped working, the shaft appears to be seized solid, ive looked on the net and followed the advise given, unscrewed the 4 screws in order to pull apart the two halves of the tool BUT, they just wont come apart,

Can you see the join  ?

You may be able to insert a blade to twist it apart.

Thanks for your reply, after some huffing and brute force i finally parted the dame thing, the cause was the black cooling fan had got hot with friction and fused to the grey outer plastic, some sanding and general clean up and its working great. %%
