I was given a hot recommendation for a curry house in Warwick  {-)
I've booked our table for 18:00 Friday evening at Warwick Spice  :-))

http://www.warwickspice.co.uk/booking/

Anyone else staying on the racecourse CC site?
about 7 years ago, I was at the show, in the evening my daughter and I fancied a curry, went to Warwick, it was closed or no parking anywhere near anything open, drove to rugby with the same thing. ended up having pizza.
the next year,  on my own i booked the hotel in the center of Coventry. only to find out that at 5.30 Coventry closes as well. I went to the pictures and watched skyfall, but could not find a curry house open at all. literally everything was closed!

Warwick racecourse caravan site is excellent and £71 for four nights 2 adults
I have connected to jockey club free WiFi which is fine but imagine will be useless on a race day due to bandwidth

The showers are HOT  :-))
Town is a short walk

The exhibition centre is well past Leamington as far as from Warwick to Leamington
UBER have recently started service in this area and I expect £10 for the trip

See you tomorrow

Like my friend Alan I haven’t made a shopping list and it’s dangerous  :embarrassed:  anything can happen!

Sorry Martin it was not meant to be a advert it was something I found on my way back to the hotel  and when I copied  and paste it came out like that ,what made me notice it was that it is not in a town but way out in the country on a farm .

My son and I went for a couple of hours today, in our opinion it was the club displays that made the show and the number of traders appears to be dwindling.  Pete

That's because trade stands at Warwick are so damn expensive it's not worth traders' time going... %)

Wonderful displays but I think Blackpool is cream of the crop now overall
I was only disappointed that the organisers clearly said no Motorhome parking only to find Motorhomes we’re there after all the trouble I had gone to looking at alternative transport arrangements

It's often been said that most model shows are a sea of grey hair. The more kits I buy the longer I will need to live in order to complete them, well that's my theory to longevity

Did any of you notice this on the SLEC stand?

Yes, they plan to re-pop the Lesro Atlantic 21 kit next year.
