Never played there, but I'd like to! I do know Robert Wolfe, shared a stage with him many years ago when he was a 'new' face on the organ scene.

He was the first person I heard play a Wurlitzer at Thursford and I've enjoyed the music produced by them since then. I wish you luck if you get the chance to play at Thursford- it feels magical at Christmas with the Wurlitzer playing. :-))

I am a modelmaker specialising in models for the wargames, military and collectables market, designing masters for production.

Pinnacles of my career so far include designing masters of Nuffield tractors in 1:32nd scale for Scaledown models, FAMO SDKFZ9 18 ton half track and Fiat Pavesi P100 artillery tractors in 1:76th scale.

Another pinnacle would have been designing the British 7.2 inch Howitzer and 6inch Mk19 family, but another designer did them without telling our mutual client  <*<

I'm a Chartered Engineer - I used to be a nuclear physicist but was a rocket scientist before that. Seriously.

My claim to 'fame'
By the time I retired I had been in every Police cell in Victoria and did my time in Pentridge Prison.  :police:

One of my jobs was to eliminate hanging points in cells so prisoners could not harm themselves and I designed the prison Hospital.  :embarrassed:

I had one just after the war.  I think it was one of these.   I can remember it was almost 1 pound in a model / toy shop near Holland Park tube station.
It fired paper caps.

50 years in the entertainment industry, first 5 as an actor, then saw sense and have spent the rest of the time as a lighting designer, first in the west end, then 30 odd years touring the world with various shows. Now doing the odd show and a little bit of teaching leading up to retirement.

I designed one in 1:76th scale for SHQ miniatures some years back and it is a pretty good kit (even though I say so myself  %) .) There may be one in 1:35th scale but I cannot recall who did it Accurate Armour?

Crikey Phil, that is one involved job! what with the electrics, control and positioning etc. I take it your job includes some Back screen work as well as lights?
