Hi One and All

I just my be trying to teach you how to suck eggs.

Most of us have had a fight with the carpet monster at some time, O.K on TV the other night one of the adverts was of a young lady who had lost an earring, to help her find said earring she put what my wife called a pop sock onto the head of the vacuum cleaner (not the rotating brush type) by doing this she was able to pick up the earring with out it going into the vacuum bag.

I know Taxi for Fred :}

That's all right, Mr Ryan. My Morse is so rusty, I could be sending him dimensions on Playmate of the Month.

And its not just good for carpets, any flooring with a pattern or cupboards or obstacles that small items go hiding near.

I use an electronic stud/pipe/wire-finder set to maximum sensitivity - finds metal and small hard objects in deep carpet quickly by scanning the area and then homing in on any response.
