Hello to all

A little about myself.

I have enjoyed this hobby since being a child back in the 70's and I enjoy sailing more than building.

I'm partial to working scale models, kits, semi, or scratch. Hydro jets, submarines and odd oddities being my favorite. I'm looking forward to discussions relating to these subjects.

Thank you for the welcome.

Sar 33, A rare beast indeed, or should I say beasts, I've been a bit greedy, I have two.
One with very low mileage in original form. And the other, possible "early edition" a money pit restoration due to it's original salty seaside lair, salt water taking it's toll on almost everything.
Stripping out the original corroded running gear, now fitted with a pair of 1700kv brushless motors should be "A real rare beastie" when completed.

Hope I'm not the only Sar33 owner on the forum.

But if so, I could always open that inspiring maritime mystery..... "Nautilus" .....and what actually happened to Nemo

No Dory jokes please

HMS Kent fought with honour and fortitude at the Battle of the Falkland islands, and dispatched the German cruiser Nurnberg which rolled over and sank
