Hi timbo ...

I didn't quite understand the constant hunting <*< of the large sounding medium speed diesel engine which I assume was on the support vessel accompanying the proceedings

Looks as if some drivers are going to have a great drive site in time this will also give the sea life some place to be safe. :-))

Its a looped sound Derek and nothing to do with the boat , sounds more like the sound of the big engined monster trucks make waiting to drive off so probably off a sound clip archive

Thanks Davie...it's didn't sound like a marine engine.....more like a large road or ground based Caterillar turbocharged engine from a Dozer or Pusher positioning  <*<

...some people think of strange sound attributes to add video clips

...second to the gun culture, this sort of thing is why I don't want to go back to America again for work.  So many health and safety things wrong with this video, I remember my last time there they were still lagging 20 years behind the times of acceptable conditions elsewhere.  I feel sorry for the guy who ended up in the drink but no surprise someone ended up there really.

It's a short audio loop, whatever it's recorded from it's only a few secs repeated.  I appreciate they say they want to create a reef but I take a dim view of dumping rubbish in the ocean -there's steel which could have been recycled and it seems to have been presented in a very cavalier attitude which I would call "redneck" engineering -doesn't look good to me.
