Hi Tassie,

I ordered 3 plans from them and the delivery was very quick
No issues with them at all.

I have received several promotional emails from Sarik that seem to be well co-oriented and reflect a focused campaign. This focus was less apparent with the previous company. They really seem to know their business, and this bodes well. Lets hope they also grow their catalogue of items for sale.

I bought my Tug Cervia plans and fibre glass hull from them.  Service was quick and the plans are the Vic Smeed, quality was good , few minor niggles with the hull but nothing that a small amount of correction did not sort.

Hi

Been using them on and off since the 1990's, only every had one problem with them but all worked out fine in the end.

Hi all, Model Boats magazine plans for quite a while were being printed by Traplet (International Marine Modelling magazine) Traplet had their own presses.  When Traplet went to the wall Sarik took over the plans catalogue of both magazines and the printing.
The take up of plans from magazines i.e. for scratch building is very low, I have heard only 40 in sales for a model boat plan.  Perhaps we may see plans with laser cut bulkheads coming to the fore as I understand it everything printed is in response to an order so there is no stock of plans.  The 'Just in time' philosophy.
Hope this helps.
regards Roy

We discussed this on my forum recently 1st April  ( a way before this post even started), Dave Milbourn had some interesting insight I’m sure some would be interested in... I’m sure he won’t mind me sharing this although it’s public viewing over on the quiet side of blogging.

Personally I’ve not dealt with them and as of yet they have nothing of consequence I’m after at present although I’m still trying to work out how they got my email and have started spamming me with offers and deals when I’ve never shopped nor created an account with them... unless they use my info from Traplet...

Anyway link to our discussion....

As they took over plan sales from Traplet it's safe to assume that would include Traplet's mailing lists.
