What sort of steam tug is she please
« on: May 01, 2018, 03:13:59 pm »

She is 56" long and is obviously a tug hull. The superstructure is very crude and is like something out of Thomas the Tank Engine, not appropriate. I am guessing she is 1/24 scale and would be 112 feet LOA. She is fibreglass and very well moulded, HELP !

I looks a bit like Chipchase's Cragsider hull and not too dissimilar in size. There's a build thread under the Tug section.

Not the Cruiser unless the bow has been modified. The Cruiser doesn't have the raised bulwarks at the bow.

Yes my thoughts exactly when I first saw it. I think the guy that owned it seems to have worked towards a conversion of tug to private yacht !!!
