From one tug skipper to another. Kenny has crossed the bar. RIP.

What a true gent to lose. I remember following his builds back starting with the Aziz (which I was building at the same time) only to see the famous sinking a few months later.
A great guy to talk to and a real asset to the forum - he will indeed be sorely missed.

The first time I met Kenny was at the first Mayhem weekend.
Where his infamy was sealed as his tug majestically sank below the waves.
What was Kenny's first reaction, save his model nah he grabbed his camera with a huge smile on his face.
You were certainly unique Kenny, I am proud to have called you a friend.

I will echo many a member that Ken will be missed but fondly remembered for not only his skill as modeller but as a decent all round chap. I remember the sinking at Wicksteed Year 1 and anyone else would have been panicking but not Kenny. You were a great source of inspiration and keep a frequency clear for us when we get there.

I've had a message forwarded on to us from Kenny wife Chris which in part says;

'Many, many thanks for all the kind words from everyone on Mayhem.
  It wonderful to see how fondly Kenny is remembered by his friends.'

Sad news indeed  <:(
Although I didn't know him personally, I read a many of his posts and he occasionally contributed to my Imara build thread.
He will be dearly missed but always remembered.
