What indexing system for cataloguing do you use Martin?

Probably the same as mine, ie
If it's not in the workshop its in the shed, or the green shed, or the garage.
I know it's not in the spare bedroom cos I was in there this morning. etc.etc.

Martin's photos remind me of Richard Howard's Model Boat Museum at Beale Park which was stuffed to the rafters with a mixture of purchased and loan boats.
Does anyone know what has happened to the collection following his death, it was very much his personal hobbyhorse.

  Hi Tony .   It's actually a Unimat 3 set up as a vertical mill but with a change of milling chuck to drill chuck it makes a versatile drill press . I bought the machines some years ago and have just given  all 3 a good overhaul and clean . Biggest problem is keeping corrosion at bay over the winter as even a waterproof  shed can get a damp atmosphere during a bad winter . I have just bought some Ambersil corrosion inhibitor spray to see if this helps keep rust at bay

   as was his garage, as well as radio control planes, boats there was a couple of interesting full-size car s (it was a garage after all ) .  A rare 4 door Maserati if I remember in mafia black and a replica D type Jaguar, cant remeber the other one, too busy looking at the ship models, most with their own R/C transmitters.

Hi Tony.


   Switch is fine , you can of course rotate the motor  against the backplate so that the switch comes in a comfortable position.
 
 Am I correct in reading that the switch on your U3 is broken  ? If so I have a motor which is duff (Bearings worn out and commutator damaged) but the switch as far as I know is fine . If you would like it to use to repair yours with you are welcome, just squawk .  Balders.
