Can anyone help me. I have downloaded some rather nice 3D CAD software from the internet. for producing boat hulls. I have 30 days to try it out. I would like to produce a simple yacht hull of the racing variety. We don't have any model clubs in Mid Wales so I don't have a source of local info. I am thinking of a hull about 850mm long, and what I need are some typical measurements for maximum beam, width of transom, draught, freeboard at bow, mid-section and transom. I would think a scaled down 1m class is what I am thinking off. The software copes with all of the other parameters.

ps. For an update on progress, I have attached a photo of my Royal racing Yacht Britannia. It is huge and I don't know if I will ever have the courage to sail it. Hence my interest in something smaller and less complex.
