F1 GP Trophies
« on: June 25, 2018, 12:05:43 am »

there are some absolutely boring trophies given out in the Formula 1 Grand Prix but today's at the French Grand Pri has restored my belief that not only are there some really fun and happy people in this world, but the French really are nutters...…..this trophy has got to be the best trophy ever given out, and if I were the winner of one it would bring a smile to my face every single time I looked at it...……...could you get better in the feel good stakes, lol.

I give you King Kong in red white and blue...….what the hell it has to do with motor racing apart from the fact that the old ape is holding up a tyre I haven't a clue...…….but its brilliant. I hope it is an end to stuffy boring trophies.

Sorry to disagree but I found it hideous.

Forget allowing sponsors to dictate the style, bring back the traditional cup.

I'm glad someone disagrees with me...….we can have a right royal rumpus now about the boredom and the jollities within F1, because there aren't that many, lol. just what Mayhem is all about, {-) %% O0

The worst one by far last year was the Austrian (apt because its the next round) a representation  of the track, which isn't bad in itself, Monaco do it every year (in silver) But Austria's was made from a bit of old tree that was stuck together  - truly hideous, I burned better in my log burner over last winter.
