Those Lesro Sun hull's  are truly in the top 5 of all model boat hulls ever commercially made!   :-))

... and those window cutouts look good too.
Also, the lifeboat appears to be well carved.
It'll be interesting to see this one coming together  :-)

Ray.

Thanks Ray, they were a pain to cut out but look OK. The lifeboat may be a little flat bottomed, but I am happy with it. Now to order some portholes before I start on the lower part of the superstructure

Have several pics I took of her in Gibraltar (in colour), too big to load on this site,, if you want copies send me your email address. Have the same kit in my garage, keep meaning to get it down and make it. Have a personal interest in her, as my father was chief engineer on her for several years, even went with him for a 24 hour shift.

That looks good!
Also good to see the citadel paints being used as part of this hobby as well as the warhammer.  :-))
I've done likewise on a number of my own projects.

Ray.

I always thought this pic was of the 21, but it is her sister ship the 22, but I thought it might be useful for detail of the front of the wheelhouse, she is on the Belfast tow when she first arrived on the thames.
