Its called Miniatur Wunderland, Its in Hamburg, loads of videos on Youtube, full airfield with flying jets, massive railway 00 gauge, road layout with working vehicles. It fills a full warehouse.

Bit of guess - but they may be using the micro/nano servos, esc's and receivers developed for model aircraft.


Also saw an article where 3d printing was being used for small custom parts / fittings

If my memory serves me correctly there was a Mayhem member who was associated with this place posting on the forum in the last 12-18 months - they explained some of the workings behind the scenes.

Nah- these are Micromodels- the old card kits from way back.
They did quite a few ships, as well as buildings, locos, etc.
The Dutch website "World of Micromodels" lists them all.
