Could you find out Arrow if they will be running to a timetable weather permitting as my daughter and I are planning to hire a camper for a few days to come up and see her on the water, and don't want to waste a lot of money doing so if she won't be running for days on end......….I can see no contact phone numbers anywhere on their site for updates either.

Neil, I`ll try to let you know details when/if I get there before you. It seems their "pits" are at a fishing area up a narrow dead-end road. Campers might not be welcome if the area is crowded so maybe leave the wagon in town and take a taxi, it is only a couple of miles ( 10 minute drive it says on the web)   I think they might have miscalculated the public interest. Parking could be a problem.  Maybe Norry on Mayhem might be worth PM-ing as he has "liked" the fishing area, maybe he is familiar with the place , he being a keen fisher. Rothesay is closer to Clydeside area where Norry lives. I`m near Inverness.  Any info you get let us know on here. Any Mayhemers planning a visit ?  BBC News mentioned K7 again today(sunday)  I think they will cover the event.  Wear a Mayhem badge if you get there so I can scrounge a cuppa  %)

OOPS seems I'm in another time zone..... this is just Saturday......should take more water with it. Plenty coverage on Beeb this morning.    David nice K7 , got any pics or video of it running ?   I`m a K4 man , very cartoon scale based on a free  unlimited  US hydroplane hull.  Real one was a bit prettier :embarrassed: .

Bluebird on Bute on twitter has up-to-the-minute photos of lochside pit, under canvas, Limited parking (pass system). Worth a look.  Gina Campbell is there with Mr.Whopit.  Nice to see Saltire on bow.
