Waverunner Mk1 I think LED light wiring

Hi all, just purchased a Waverunner mk1 I think bait boat, think it must be Mk1 as seems to be running on 40mhz


It has a faulty motherboard so converting to proper 2.4ghz electronics. Have got ESC’s ordered and some extra switches but switches are only 5v or 6v


How do I power all the LEDs, tried with 12v on one bulb and it started smoking so take it 12v is too much


How would I connect all the original wires together to power the LED bulbs?


Also the magnet droppers seem to need 12v but switches don’t put out 12v


Any ideas please would be much appreciated
