Wyforce tug
« on: August 07, 2018, 01:35:28 pm »

Hi guys, I have the wyforce tug boat and was thinking of changing the fixed kort nozles
for steerable kort nozles to improve handling.
Has anyone done this mod and how much did it improve steering. Is it worth doing or not?
Did you have to replace the A frames? A picture would be great if you have one.

John

Im building one at the moment but doing my own thing to it, I have put steerable korts on with no problems,
It took a big of measuring and remeasuring but it went to plan.

Any pictures Timbo %%

Ps I looked at Google images I now know what a Becker rudder is. I think steerable korts is
The best option for me.

...Hi John44...

Why not fit a Bow Thruster instead of Steerable Korts...
That would help steering a Lot...
I did this with my WYEFORCE...

...Best Regards Norry...

Hi Norry, I have just done that job, I'll try her out this weekend weather permitting,
But on 2 sticks not a tank control or V tail mixer.
