Model boat stand padding

Hi,
What do people use for model boat stand padding/protection ?

I use the felt side of sticky Velcro, Pete

Capt Podge:
Depends on the weight of the model but I normally use strips of mouse mat backing  :-))

Baldrick:
I use strips cut from a length of stick on felt for chair legs
