Duck Transparent repair tape

I bought some Duck Transparent repair tape to seal the hatch on my Robbe Turo, very poor product, describes itself as 100% waterproof, which it is not.
Previously used Blenderm tape which is excellent but can lift paintwork if you are not ultra careful, the Duck product will not lift paint because it falls of within 10mins, no better than basic sellotape.
