I too can relate to this Colin..........sometimes I think ..'why not' ......it will only reduce the inheritance by a few $....which would probably never be missed

61 years ago, my first pair of soccer boots were 3rd hand me downs.......this year my Grandsons have the latest & greatest pairs of Brand Name boots per season...& the same for cricket  :-X

On the other side of the coin we have our friend Hammer building his current model paddler with great skill & engineering ingenuity, however making the majority from 2nd hand materials or junk.........reminds me in some ways of another older Guest Member ''bogstandard"

So looking at all...I think it must al be a mix with each to choose........ O0

I've just had three tonnes of concrete poured, I've ordered two sheds, bought the necessary wiring and electrics, will need to insulate and then create my workspace ... this hobby's costing me £1400 over the next couple of weeks.  %%


...but it'll be worth it!
