Ballastanksian,
Believe me, the hardest part of any models design is figuring out an easy (I can't say foolproof because over the years I've met some very determined fools) way to build it.
This model, despite its appearance, is no more complex and difficult to build than many previous models. The only skills required are the ability to use a knife, glue and sandpaper plus a willingness to seal and prepare surfaces before painting. Sadly, far too many people seem determined to never develop such skills.
But, as Laurence Sterne said in "Tristram Shandy";
"So long as a man rides his hobby-horse peaceably and quietly along the king's highway, and neither compels you or me to get up behind him - pray, Sir, what have either you or I to do with it?"
Now to knock another item off Mrs Guest's "to do" list....!
