hello. im new to the forum so i sorry if this has been covered before but are there any rules on the tugs you can use in towing. size, style etc. was looking at the metcalf typhoon and was hoping it would be ok to use. has anyone any experiance of this model? thanks for any help andy

Hi Andy, No Problem with size of tug, The Typhoon is a large and heavy tug, It is a bit top heavy so keep your
Superstructure a little light.

I Andy, Yes it's my tug, And I sail and tug tow at Balne Moor M B C Goole area.
Ian the motors that are fitted to the tug are Astra heater motors driving a 65mm props.
