Looking good Stu

One lesson I learned with the life raft racks , was that the ones fitted to the bridge wings, are very easy damaged when built from plastic. So I replaced mine with brass parts.

Finished the life raft racks just need to tidy and paint and add any rope, straps needed. two bridge wings fitments and two deck fitments.

Thanks for your comments appreciate it, bit more done over the week end landing light bar finished not fixed yet, and brass tie downs on Helli Deck, I have decided to sink them into the deck to make them level, this I have done by punching holes with hole puncher and by fixing some plasticard to the back of the brass tie downs. will have to paint deck again. see pictures think it will work out ok.

Hi All had a brake from the Clyde, started the Sea King Helicopter its a 1.48th scale and have not made a model kit like this for years, trying to think when it was has to be when I was 12ish, all I can say is my fingers are a lot bigger so more difficult for such small parts but getting there. looking to get rotor blades working some challenge that will be any ideas will help.

Hi Stu, I used small motors from Precision Micro Motors for the main rotors and some vey small motors out of old HS2 monitors for the tail rotor.

While things are a bit quiet bit more done on the two boats not fitted. still detail to add little kits in their own right.

This is a beautiful model, and like several other builders here, you are recreating reality in a smaller scale, not just modelling.

Had a bit of time so thought I would tackle the depth gage markings only done one side as I am having to order more thought one pack of each black and white would do.
