robbe fr500 and happy hunter
« on: October 08, 2018, 06:32:51 am »

right im renovating an original Happy Hunter. Surprisingly its in good condition. normal problems, parts falling off due to age, dust, needs new prop shaft grease etc. my big problem is it has a Robbe fr500 inside. ir comes in 2 parts. looks like a control box and a speed controller, as it has 20amp written on it.
questions,,,,,,,,i can find no info but plenty of pics!
what does this unit exactly do
what voltage is needed to run it ie 6v or 12v
what are the robbe motors (geared) were in this boat (labels fallen off)
what would the lighting system run on?

the motors  will be  12volt  geared 5;5:1 ''orange gearboxes''  navys as we call them

the lighting  if its the robbe bulbs fitted  ie  the wire to the bulbs are they a thin yellow color?  if so these are normally 6volt
