aeronaut Queen - brushless

(1/1)

shadysadie:
Hello again folks. Back in April I asked for advice regarding converting my 34" glass fibre hull "Huntsman" to brushless, using a spare 3639 1100KV motor and received a lot of helpful advice. Eventually, I fitted a Turnigy 3536 1400KV aerodrive which I also had spare, together with a 40mm. bronze prop. and tried it out on 4S li-po power as these are the only batteries I possess. The performance is amazing, very fast, planes beautifully, good in the turns (with care!) and motor/ESC stay very cool. It is probably a little over powered but, as I was told, " you don't HAVE to use full throttle".

So, back to my real question, do you think that the above combination will work in my Aeronaut "Queen" which I now find very lacking in performance on a speed 600 brushed motor having sampled the heady delights of  brushless . I shall still run on 4S as these are my only power source but would consider 3536 1200KV if this would be more suitable?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
David.

Hi David
If you still have the 3639-1100kv use that as will still give you 12,000 rpm on 4S.
For the "Queen" cabin cruiser it will give you a good turn of speed.
Same ESC and prop size.

Thanks canabus.
I still have the 3639 and will follow your advice.
David.
