DF65 Identification
« on: February 18, 2019, 08:57:49 am »

Who is able to tell me which version of the DF65 this is?  LINK  It looks quite different to all those I've found in the UK and is considerably cheaper considering it includes the radio as well.

It's the original v1 version.
The latest version v6 I think has quite a few upgrades. The original is still a fine sailer.

It's a shop selling it as new, so you might well get the latest version if they haven't updated the picture. I've used the shop before and they have been been fine.

OK, thanks chaps, about what I thought.  I rather suspect they bought a job lot of the 'old' ones at a good price and are now selling them off..  I'll order one this week - it's only for casual sailing, not racing, so I'm not too fussed which version it is.  I actually quite like the colour scheme anyway.

It's certainly a good price - I bought one of the current version a couple of weeks ago as my first yacht and it does sail very well.
