Pete,
I would be reluctant to try a fan in the Touchwood K7 x 26 '' long as there is not a big enough air intake to get the fan to work.
It has been tried unsuccessfully before to no avail and holes had to be cut in the engine cover to get more air in.
Also it is so low in the water if you could get it to work it would get flooded when under power to get it up on the step.


It can be done successfully using a brushless motor and 3s Lipo's ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGPMBKTA1Wo&t=8s )
