Propshaft Problems...

I've used these nice prop shaft assemblies from Raboesch before... they have a ball bearing in the upper head, and a Delrin bushing in the lower position... require no lube, they're sweet.


But I just noticed: In order to allow the shaft to be easily installed, it seems they've made a slightly loose fit for the shaft in the bearing. Normal practice would be a slight press fit of inner race onto a shaft. In the video, see the marks... the shaft turns inside the inner race! I checked the bearing, it turns freely... so it's just the cold grease's friction that's holding the bearing.


Probably, the grease will warm and things will free up, but still I wonder if that shaft will start spinning in the race and ruin itself. A drop of Loctite bearing mount could fix things too... but that would make it a pain to pull the shaft later.


Anyone ever have issues with this, or do I worry too much?
