I have a little difficulty in understanding the long delays in speech response between both vessels leading up to the point of collision, and together with trying to sync the audio to the radar log  :o


The circumstances here with the KNM Helge Instad do appear different to the recent USS Fitzgerald & USS McCain loss of navigational awareness

She is now probably scrap value only with all that salt water in her. But probably like Nottingham for political reasons will be salvaged!!
