Model Slipway Tamar Lifeboat
« on: November 17, 2018, 09:18:20 am »

I am about to start building the 1/16 scale Tamar from Model Slipway. I would like to install two brushless motors. Are there any recommendations on what type top fit? I am looking just for scale speed if possible with nice planning if possible. Thanks

Hi,
There are some good threads on here if you use the search function, many members have differing set ups  :-)

Hi
Started building my first boat ,the Slipway Tamar about 15 months ago and went brushless after reading a lot of the forum info and help from members.
Went for
Overland Tornado Thumper 1050kv motors.
Hobbyking Brushless car ESC 60A with reverse HK-60A
Raboesch Bow Thruster 19mm 108-02
2 Turnigy 3S lipo batteries.
These were recommended by members.
Model not finished yet. Had it on water a few times and runs well on the plastic propellers supplied in kit.
Hope this helps
Alan
