The last time I drank Cointreau I woke up four hours later and was rather unwell afterwards!
That was one of the most interesting nights out in the RAF I’ve ever had but I’ll never touch the orange horror again! %%

I like Famous Grouse, M&S Kenmore is also pretty good for a blended whisky, very smooth. But my favourite is Laphroaig.
They call Whisky the Water of Life and there is a lot in that. Combined with Ginger Wine it cures or relieves a lot of afflictions. That's my belief anyway.

Even after being here nearly 45 years I am still trying to work out why Australians have roast turkey etc. on Christmas Day in the middle of summer.
Maybe that's the reason  %%

Probably in their ancestry and genes...….for I and 4 mates shared a bbq of Christmas dinner on Bondi, Christmas day 1977, last one I had before sailing home in early '78......long before the regs that Bondi has these days..............went down a storm........full Chrissy dinner cooked on 2 half barrel barbies......only thing we couldn't get right was the white rum sauce for the pud.....it went lumpy...….and we only did it as a challenge from other mates, lol.....

and no one caught in a rip either, hehe!
