It has happened here in Tasmania.....Christmas day drone flight grounds fire fighting helicopters

""""About 5:00pm yesterday, helicopters involved in the firefighting efforts were grounded because of a drone seen flying in their airspace"

Are drones any worse than a flock of Canada Geese ? We get these regularly at certain times of the year and we are on one of the glide approaches to Heathrow. Gatwick has always had a big bird problem %% and employ a bod to go and fire a few blank cartridges, never sure it was totally effective.
