Flying Sub FS-1 "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea"
« on: November 27, 2018, 06:28:10 pm »

I can just about recall watching the re-runs of this series in the late 1970s. The shape of this sub still looks futuristic today. Nice piece of engineering getting it working. Any more details appreciated. Is there a build thread for this awesome creation?

I hadn't seen that! Great to see it in action in deeper water. Fantastic.

I like the starship enterprise that is on the youtube, its amazing how they get these creations to stay stable when there is so much drag that can flip them

Ah, those were the days, 5:15pm Saturdays on Granada after World of Sport had finished. Sit down to watch VTTBOTS and the crew being mercilessly thrown from side to side. Full ahead flank!
