Kort Nozzle
« on: December 03, 2018, 08:41:51 am »

HI, Advise needed for the installation of a kort nozzle from the beginning.

I have never installed one before.

I have drilled the holes and the prop shaft and rudder tube are a snug fit.

The stern is in the shape of an inverted L and bth are flat panels and the holes are drilled dead centre.

What I've seen people do is make up a circle template of the same OD as the ID of the nozzle and a center hole for the propshaft, and use that in place of the propeller to ensure the nozzle is centered on the shaft.

I would suggest that the diameter of the circular template was 1-2 mm greater than that of the prop.

As long as the ID of the nozzle is the same.

Hi all,

The nozzle is now set up and ready to be glued in place.

I could not find a bottletop to fit but the hole saw gave me the right size.
