Babebot Glue Dispenser
« on: December 08, 2018, 01:24:09 pm »

Hi All

I've just started using this really good glue dispenser and thought that I would share it on here.  Its called a babebot which holds 4oz of glue and has two chambers.  You squeeze it to get the glue out and works at any angle.  It also doesn't clog because the glue gets drawn back away from the nozzle when you let go of it.  It works great and it has a big brother called a bigbot if 4oz is too small for you.

I have the big one of those. It is really good if you have a lot of gluing to do, or just a long line of glue to put down (e.g. rabbets and dadoes). Because it will glue at most angles, and especially good upright, getting a controlled amount of glue out of the bottle is easy-peasy. They are a bit expensive, but well worth it.
I also buy PVA in 4L pots, this is a cheap way to buy glue, will last me a year or so, and no problems with it going off. It you look at the performance of PVA compared to some of the other branded white and yellow glues, PVA is just as good as most, better than some. Unless your models are going to be submerged all of the time, PVA will do it, and this little bottle will make gluing a pleasure.
