Hi Gents,
 I hope this doesn't get me banned but honest I was reading a R.C. model forum and it game up that some was using KY JELLY.
for there stuffing tubes yes I know what is normally used for but has any one else used or heard of this in model boating Honest this is not a wind up please gents younglings read this forum so keep it clean.

It's water soluble so probably not very good for prop tubes!

Contact jotika they sell prop shaft grease. It was made by Robbe but now sold by them or contact the model shop Leeds they stock it. Used it many times with no problems found.

Steve’s model bits sell propshaft grease.


I have also used lithium grease. It’s available in a spray like WD40
And is used as a lubricant in bikes for chains and gears. It’s also water repelling.
I use this if I can’t get in to properly grease a shaft

Best stuff I've used so far is tf2 ultimate. Stays put approaching 40k rpm...

I've used white lithium grease in standard propshafts with brushed motors. NEVER had a leak. would go with Andyn 'recommendation for higher prop speeds
