Andy’s, nothing like a Stevn's arctic build!

Taranis:
Good Dave, I hope to deliver  :-))
I'm thinking she has a lot going on up top so already thinking I need to keep that light. Brian likely has a good idea of weight in the water but I'm guessing in excess of 50lb.
Loads of room in the hull and I'm toying with using KMB jet drives to power bow thrusters, mounted over the water intakes on the hull sides. I'll be following Brian very closely and hope to contribute in part to the build

coch y bonddu:
Personally I would be building topside either out of the thinnest ply available....0.8mm or the equivellent in Plastic card, just to keep the topside weight down

Dave

Taranis:
I must admit I prefer thin ply as per Portgarth but at this point keeping my options open  :-)

Taranis:
Due to my lack of space time and skill that Brian has in abundance I cannot make my own Z drives.
So I am relying on these guys in HK to come up with the goods at a more modest price than €560 each  <:(

Morning Andy
What about just using shafts & steerable nozzles with a nice pair of prop shop propeller.  save you few £££
But your build mate i look forward to your work  :-))
