I would consider putting the fire monitors on one of the forward
decks rather than up on the roof.  :-)

Plastruct:
.
TB-x Tubes x=1/32" starting at 2 through 40 with 1=3/64th inch for some reason.
https://plastruct.com/collections/tubing-amp-fittings-2
.
E-x  Elbow Fittings (X below match TB-x designations.)
.
TP-x T-fittings
.
PC-x End Caps
.
RI-x Ring Flange fittings
.

If you know the diameter you want, then you can search Plastruct for say PC-16 and get a link to order that part.
Search function at the top right corner of the page.

They are on the mast on top of the water riser pipes which cost a considerable amount of money to create  %%

Hey,... what are those 90's in the background?Possible UK supplier instead of plastruct?

Yes hence why my water risers are so expensive.  %%

Unfortunately non of the UK suppliers keep full inventory. I think EMA is the major stockist of Plastruct.

Thereafter another 3mm thickness of styrene was added to shape the backs. Tamiya FINE grey primer for the brass.

Red primer for red paint

Today I'm back on the lower superstructure. Some alterations and additions before a good coat of Tamiya FINE primer for plastic&metal.
Then a round of filling exposed by the primer.
Over time I have concluded that where the filling of primed styrene is needed as opposed to bare styrene then this is the best IMHO

After a couple of hours work it is ready for a final priming tomorrow.

Paying attention to the absolutely essential: You have a Finnish FINLUX TV/monitor in your workshop - good for you, Andy  %%

TV is essential if in the workshop all day. I watch or listen to all the old guy programs like classic cars wheeler dealers fast and loud. Then the tea time regulars of the tipping point and the chase. Yesterday channel is watched the most I guess.
Had Finlux travel TV in the motorhome for many years, great value  :-))

I love the programs on railway journeys and in Alaska

I have a TV set in the mancave. Even a blue ray player, but I very seldom use them. Radio and CD player more important. While all my music is digitalised now and goes everywhere with me, I have the old CDs downstairs and listen to them quite a lot. There’s something special in handling a physical medium, albeit they are not vinyl records.

A lot more prep took place but the lower cabin is now ready for gloss.
Unfortunately I need wind free warm to do this as the parts are all too big now for nipping out and in.

So I'm looking at those other little things that just make it pop.
This is meant to represent a steel cabinet for the battery bank. Double doors with a demountable lid for access.

In this picture I've also added end stops to the ladder storage spars

Far too many pictures

Having finished the other hydrant I've now turned back to the hull to prepare for final paint.
I didn't pay enough attention to the wash ports and should have put in more effort to make them flush. So this is now in progress.

Starboard side done

So in preparation for paint all deck fittings are now removed.

Not a lot happening due to chores but I have laid everything out for final assembly. Still working on the hull hoping for consistent warm weather soon for painting.

Kind words Nord but I did just spend an hour clearing the bench  {-)  not always tidy.

There are still bits to make and further embellishing but the main hold up now is purely weather. Once I get cracking on paint I can start dreaming of a sail day at Balne Moor and equally as important which model I'm going to drop back on. The Shannon Lifeboat has to be done I think.

I envisage many hold ups with this with paintwork so now might be the time to build the Billing Boats Hoga
Not much space required and should not be a long project.
