Internet sites
« on: December 26, 2018, 10:19:55 am »

Hello I find some web sites can get annoying.  I am thinking Sarik Hobbies.  When I am on the site I highlight a plan etc and then the screen gets obscured by the Sarik logo enlarging over 40% of what I am looking at.  Why?

Now is this my laptop?  I use Firefox, or is it something I can adjust for.  Is it a too enthusiastic web designer?

Having seen a few other sites, eg, P Interest which seems to close up, and I thought I was logged in, so I do not go there anymore.
I do have ad blocker running, does this cause a problem?

Any thoughts?
RegardsRoy

Sometimes it is when they have expanding adverts. If your cursor passes over, or sits on, an ad somewhere else on the page, it expands. Sarik has one of these as a header, just move the cursor down below the ad and it will disappear.
Sarik also has a box the fills the right hand side of the page, asking you for details so that you can sign up. Just click the cross at the top corner. Or sign up.
Hope this fixes your issue.
